UK vs Portugal - I

As diferenças no modo de vida entre o Reino Unido e Portugal fazem-se notar, algumas das quais notam-se quando somos somente turistas, outras só vivendo é que nos apercebemos que existem.

Na primeira compra de supermercado que fiz deparei-me logo com uma inexistência neste País e que eu fiquei completamente surpreendida.

Guardanapos, de papel, normais, para utilizar às refeições simplesmente não existem.

Pois, corri Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrison, e diabo a 7. Os únicos guardanapos que encontrava eram aqueles para festa ou então rolo de cozinha.

Ao qual me fiz logo uma pergunta tola: Então mas estes tipos não se limpam à mesa?

E comecei a ficar atenta quando ía a algum café, bar, restaurante, etc...e o que notei?
Guardanapos na mesa? só pedindo e,ee...
Guardanapos com a comida pedida? só pedindo, e, ee..
E quando se pedem sandes ou tostas? levas com um guardanapo de café, daqueles fininhos que se vêem os dedos...

Ora querem lá ver que sempre que vá a Portugal tenho de trazer guardanapos na mala de viagem?

Só dizia para mim mesma..Renova, volta, estás perdoada pelos balúrdios que cobras em Portugal por um simples pacote!!!

E não há solução? Há, encomenda online, os mesmos supermercados descritos acima, não vendem na loja física, mas vendem nas encomendas online.
Porquê? Pois, não encontro justificação.


The differences in lifestyle between the UK and Portugal make themselves noted, some of which are noticeable right when we´re tourists, others just living in the country we realize them. 

The fisrt time I did grocery shopping I came across with a lack in this country and I was completely surprised by it.

Napkins, paper napkins, standard, for use when you eat. 

I ran by Tesco, Sainsbury, Morrison, and so on .. the ones I found were those napkins for party or kitchen roll then. 

To which I immediately did a silly question: "Don´t they clean themselves after eating?"

And I began to be aware when we went to some coffee shop, bar, restaurant, etc. ... and what did I noticed? 
Napkins on the table? You need to ask, 
Napkins with requested food? You need to ask,
And when you ask for sandwiches or paninis? They will give you just one and it´s so thin that you can see your fingers... 

Now, do i have to bring napkins from Portugal on my suitcase?

First thing i prayed .. Renova come back, you are forgiven by the obscene amount of money you ask in Portugal for a simple package! 

And, is there no solution? 
Well let´s calm down, you can order online, the same supermarkets described above, do not sell in the physical store, but the sell it online. 
Why? I really don´t know.
